Embryo were born in 2000 in Cremona. In 2001 the band recorded the first promo “The Source Of Hate”. After a widespred underground promotional campain with Kick Agency Promotion, the promo received positive reviews from fanzines, webzines , thus Embryo decided to record a promotional cd only for labels, magazines, webzines.The new release was a three-song cd recorded on June 30th 2002 at X-Studio in Bollate (Milan). In the same year the band had many gigs in Italy,Austria and Switzerland to promote the new songs and was among the finalists of the Transilvania Rock Contest... Thanks to many positive feedback, Embryo decided to realize their first cd in 2005. The band signed a deal with Officina Rock on January 2006. The new album, called Chaotic Age, distributed by Masterpiece, it was out at the end of April; it was also reprinted by the russian label Mystic Empire in order to be distributed in the east European countries... Chaotic Age has been succesfully presented on April 7th at Transilvania Live (Cremona), during the show with the legendary thrashers Necrodeath. It has also positive feedback in a lot of magazines (FLASH 85/100 , METAL HAMMER 7/10 ...) and webzines (Metalitalia 7, Rockline 70/100, “Album Of The Month” on danish Metal Revolution etc...) and among MySpace users from all over the world!.. After some gigs around the north of Italy the band faced new line-up issues, after the entry of keyboards player Simone (just after the recording of Chaotic Age) bass player Rospy and the drummer Reynoldz joined the band with enthusiasm and new ideas for the creation of new songs... Between February and March 2009 Embryo entered in Fear Studio (Dgm, Gory Blister, Empyrios, The Modern Age Slavery ...) to realized their second album “NO GOD SLAVE”, recorded and mixed by Simone Mularoni, and mastered by Gabriele Ravaglia... In August Embryo signed a deal with the british label Rising Records (candidated as best metal label at the Hammer Golden Awards 2009)... In November James Payne joined the band as session drummer and in December Embryo realized the video of the song "No God Slave" directed by Salvatore Perrone... "NO GOD SLAVE" is released worldwide on 15th February 2010!.. In March 2010 Reynoldz re-joined the band and Andrea replaced Rospy on bass. At the end of May the guitarist Uge has got an endorsement deal with PEAVEY for PXD TOMB II guitar. On 1st July Embryo released the second video “Flatterer Of Indifference” from No God Slave album, again with the director Salvatore Perrone. Stay Tuned!!
